Independence Day Flower Show -2011

I had heard about there is a flower show organized every year in Lalbagh,Bangalore, but was not aware when it be organized. Then on 5th August,I got an e-mail from Madhu about flower show.I had become ready for that just I got that mail. Then on Saturday, that is on 6th August, I reached Lalbagh around 9.30 am.I was expecting more people from our photography club there but due to some other commitments only Madhu and Koushik with his family was there. We reached somewhat earlier and there was time to open so we tried our skills on nearby surroundings.

Focus on the journey, not the destination.

When I entered Glass House, I was in a state of ambiguity, everywhere the blooming and flourishing flowers was spreading their charm, from where I should start my journey to meet these bounties of God. The replica
of  "Lotus Temple" of Delhi and the "Konark Wheel" of Orissa was the two main attractions of the annual independence day flower show at Lalbagh Botanical Garden. This year the Horticulture Department is also commemorating the 100th year of the annual flower show.

There was a view of exotic varieties of flowers like salvia, balsam, zinnias, poppy, brachycome, statice, caladium,
gladiolus,roses and petunia.

Finally I reached that section without its visit that show never can be completed. That section was for symbol of  love, from long times ago that became center of attraction for many great poets,Roses.
"  You love the roses - so do I. I wish
The sky would rain down roses, as they rain
From off the shaken bush. Why will it not?
Then all the valley would be pink and white
And soft to tread on. They would fall as light
As feathers, smelling sweet; and it would be

Like sleeping and like waking, all at once!"
